Having practised employment law for over 20 years, Julie specialises in workplace investigations into executive misconduct, board and management governance, anti-discrimination law, executive employment and workplace training.
Julie advises on all aspects of employment law. She frequently advises about on-boarding and exiting senior executives, managing ill and injured workers, and the interpretation of agreements and contracts. Julie advises private sector, public sector and pro bono clients from various industries. She also appears before industrial relations commissions and discrimination tribunals in conciliation proceedings and instructs counsel in employment and discrimination related litigation.
Julie leads our national Workplace Investigations and Workplace Learning practices and has been trained by the Blue Knot Foundation in trauma informed practices, which she applies in her practice.
An accredited workplace trainer, Julie has extensive experience in the development and delivery of interactive and experiential training on a broad range of employment and discrimination law topics. She regularly facilitates programs on workplace investigations, performance management and EEO awareness.
