Shannon practices across the broad spectrum of employment, industrial relations, discrimination and safety matters. She has a strong industrial practice, having advised clients extensively on enterprise bargaining, industrial action, and conducted associated litigation, such as termination of enterprise agreements and stopping industrial action.
Shannon also has a particular specialty in complex employment and industrial litigation and disputes. She has represented clients in relevant state and federal jurisdictions, including the High Court.
Shannon has provided clients with extensive workplace training and enjoys assisting clients navigate tricky matters arising from issues such as regulator investigations, long term ill and injured employees, and absenteeism.
Shannon has advised clients in relation to the conduct of investigations, and has conducted many investigations, including those relating to whistleblower disclosures.
Shannon has a keen interested in legal tech and AI and her role at Lander & Rogers includes leading the firm's Brisbane Law Tech Clinic, delivered in partnership with BotL, for Queensland University of Technology (QUT) students.
