Meghan has practiced exclusively in employment and industrial relations law since 2017, assisting clients with her expertise across all workplace related matters. Prior to joining McKays Solicitors in their Mackay office, Meghan worked in a specialist boutique Brisbane firm.

Meghan has a particular passion for assisting employers, and has provided extensive advice to large, medium and small employers across a variety of industries, including in relation to managing employees, employment and contractor agreements, enterprise agreements, policies and procedures, workplace investigations, termination of employment (including redundancy), transfer of business and workplace health and safety.

Meghan regularly represents employers and employees in various matters including unfair dismissal, general protections, discrimination, harassment, bullying, workers’ compensation and claims for unpaid wages and entitlements. She has also been involved in the Fair Work Commission’s award modernisation process.

Meghan frequently presents on employment and IR matters and has authored various articles regarding legislative and case developments.
