Dr Samone McCurdy is Executive Manager, Insight and Capability at the Workplace Gender Equality Agency, where she leads initiatives that help Australian workplaces build gender equality capability and drive meaningful organisational change. A gender equality strategist, researcher and leadership educator, Samone has more than 20 years’ experience across diversity and inclusion, organisational development and leadership transformation.
Prior to joining WGEA, she served as the inaugural Gender Equality Adviser to Victoria Police and led major research and curriculum transformation projects at Monash University. Samone holds a doctorate focused on fathers, paid parental leave and flexible work, and is a recognised expert on workplace gender equality, leadership capability and inclusive policy design. She is a sought-after speaker known for translating complex research into practical strategies that create lasting impact.
