Clare Kerley is a Partner in the Employment team at Hall & Wilcox with more than 15 years' experience advising clients on employment, industrial relations and workplace safety matters. With careers spanning journalism and law, Clare brings a unique perspective to workplace issues and the broader risks organisations face when managing people, culture and conduct.

Clare advises organisations across both the public and private sectors on a broad range of workplace matters, including workplace relations, enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes, workplace safety, organisational change, workforce management and employment litigation. She regularly represents employers before the Fair Work Commission, the NSW Industrial Relations Commission and has extensive experience helping organisations navigate complex and high-stakes workplace challenges.

Clare has extensive experience conducting and advising on workplace investigations, including matters involving bullying, harassment, discrimination, misconduct and psychosocial risks. She also advises employers on emerging workplace challenges, including employee conduct, freedom of expression, social media use and reputational risk. Her background in journalism complements her legal expertise in helping organisations navigate issues that can quickly become matters of both legal and public concern.
