Michael Starkey is a Senior Associate in the Employment & Compensation team at Baker McKenzie’s Sydney office. He advises clients across all areas of employment law, including employment contracts, workplace investigations, employee entitlements, restructures, executive employment, discrimination and harassment matters, performance management, and industrial relations issues.
Michael has extensive experience representing employers in workplace disputes and litigation, as well as advising on large-scale workforce compliance and contractor classification projects. He also delivers training on compliance, workplace culture, work health and safety, and performance management.
Michael holds multiple academic honours from the University of Sydney, including the Sir Alexander Beattie Prize in Industrial Law.
